PORT OF REDWOOD CITY

The Port of Redwood City is a revenue focused entrepreneurial public agency. On a daily basis the Port conducts multi million dollar foreign trade and commerce. The Port is not a taxing agency, we earn our revenue through real estate contracts and cargo operations. 

 

The Port is a feeder port for the construction industry, serving Silicon Valley, importing those raw construction materials via vessels to the region.

 

The Port values capital investment to support port operations and economic impact to the community. Over the past several years, the Port invested more than $25M in wharf improvements and other capital infrastructure.
