It’s been quite chilly this month in the Bay Area, but cold weather is no obstacle for cargo ship operators to efficiently exchange goods. Each cargo ship entering and exiting the Port experiences a unique voyage that connects us around the world. Their journey to and from our port supports a flourishing region of growth and opportunity for Silicon Valley.
We warmly welcome more than just cargo ships to the Port of Redwood City. We also encourage community members to visit our waterfront any time of the year to enjoy its vibrant scenery and discover how the Port plays a key role in developing and executing innovative strategies that advance the maritime industry. The creative art installations along the waterfront allow community members to explore the Port's rich history and its ongoing impact on the maritime industry today. As we near the new year, the Port of Redwood City prepares for the annual Port sponsorship program. The program cultivates partnerships between the Port and local businesses and organizations that maintain the Port’s resiliency and regional economic contributions.
