Thank you to our community for joining us at the Fourth of July fireworks celebration! We enjoyed welcoming the community back to our waterfront. This summer, we encourage you to continue to visit and explore the Port of Redwood City. In this edition of Currents, we’re highlighting a ship’s journey and the Port’s tonnage and vessel reports, so that you can see which vessels have visited our Port. We’re also recognizing the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary’s service to our community. They provide education and support services to keep recreational and commercial boaters safe on our waterways. Finally, we’re honoring Port Commissioner Richard Dodge for his 42 years of service to the Port and the maritime industry. I’m honored to partner with community members and organizations to serve our maritime community.
