Port of Redwood City to host its annual PortFest on Saturday, Oct. 7

Join the Port of Redwood City (Port) as they host their free annual PortFest celebration this Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This Redwood City tradition is for family and friends of all ages and will feature fun activities for everyone to enjoy. This event also includes many opportunities to learn about Redwood City’s maritime heritage and the Port’s waterfront history.

The festival will take place at the Port along the public access waterfront, 475 Seaport Ct., in Redwood City. This community celebration will feature many fun events, including:

  • Boat ride harbor tours on the famous “Robert G. Brownlee” with the Marine Science Institute. Sign up for this 45-minute boat ride here.

  • Live music from Wild Child.

  • Kid Zone.

  • Open house at Sequoia Yacht Club.

  • Free 30-minute sailing excursions at Spinnaker Sailing. Participants must sign a liability waver and be 5 years and older. Sign ups will be available on the day of the event at the school office.

  • Working waterfront behind-the-scenes bus tours.

  • Beer and wine booths for adults featuring Ghostwood Beer.

  • Free vessel tours with the Sea Scouts/Girl Scouts.

  • Arts and crafts vendors.

  • Food and beverage booths.

  • And more!
