The San Francisco Bay Ferry and Port of Redwood City team up this summer to take you to the ballgame

On select Sundays this summer, community members can ferry between Redwood City and San Francisco, thanks to a new partnership between the San Francisco Bay Ferry and the Port of Redwood City.

The pilot program launching July 28 will provide a direct ferry service from the Port of Redwood City to the Port of San Francisco on select Sundays this summer to coincide with San Francisco Giants games.

Whether attending for the baseball game or to spend a day in the city, riders are encouraged to be attentive to the ferry return time, which will coincide with the conclusion of the baseball game.

This program is a significant step toward enhancing our transportation network, reducing traffic congestion and offering a sustainable travel alternative,” said Kristine Zortman, Executive Director of the Port of Redwood City. “We are excited to be able to test this service in our community and offer residents access to Bay Area activities and events.”
